Password Protect Your Files With Protect Me

Maintaining Security is very tough job now days. As every one have some secret data which they won’t like to share with others. So here I like to share a small tool which encrypts files and folders with a strong password and keeps your data securely. Protect Me is a completely freeware which stores your confidential files in a exe container with a strong password. This tool utilizes the AES encryption technology and compiles the files into a standalone .exe file that can be used from a portable USB drive. You can carry out the password protected .exe file in a USB drive and can use in any PC by just entering the password and extracting to the desired location. Step by Step Procedure is explained how to use Protect Me software.

1) Run the tool and simply drag the files/folders  to be encrypt into Protect Me window.

2) Type an typical password (remember the password else you won’t have access to decrypt the file) and hit on create container. Then it will asks for the path to save. Select where to save the container .exe file.

3) Now you can see the encrypted container file in the saves location. If you want to view the files/folders in it, just run it. When it prompts for password enter the password you gave in the begining.

4) Now it will shows the encrypted data stored in it. Just select the files/folders and click on extract everything to get the data to your hard disk.
