1. Using plugins like Random Posts or Advanced Random Post. But everyone doesn’t likes to install plugins for each and every activity, as using plenty of plugins will slow downs the site.
2. The second one is for coding lovers . There is an simple php script which shows the required number of posts in pages/sidebar.

Here is the code, just copy the code and apply it in the sidebar of your theme.

This plugin can automatically link keywords and phrases in your posts and comments with corresponding posts, pages, categories and tags on your blog and also allows you to set up your own keywords and set of matching URLs. Finally it allows you to set nofollow attribute and open links in new window. It is a perfect solution to get your blog posts interlinked or add affiliate links to other sites.

4. SEO Friendly Images:

SEO Friendly Images is a WordPress optimization plugin which automatically updates all images with proper ALT and TITLE attributes. If your images do not have ALT and TITLE already set, SEO Friendly Images will add them according the options you set. Additionally this makes the post W3C/xHTML valid as well.

Download Plugin

Let me instruct the way of installing pluginsin wordpress directory.

Manual Installation

• Download the plugin zip file to your local machine.
• Unzip the file
• Upload plugin folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory
• Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu option in WordPress

Automatic Installation

• Navigate to Plugins tab and select Add New

.
